William H. Lippy, M.D., F.A.C.S. (Retired)
Dr. William Lippy founded the Lippy Group for Ear, Nose & Throat. He was internationally recognized for his advances in stapedectomy surgery and, over the course of his career, performed thousands of stapedectomies.
Warren Hearing & Research Foundation (WHARF)
The Warren Hearing & Research Foundation supported advances in hearing surgery, medical research, hearing-aid research, physician education and access to implantable hearing devices for patients who could not otherwise afford them.
Lippy Group surgeons performed more than 30,000 major hearing operations and contributed to research and surgical techniques involving otosclerosis, revision stapedectomy, chronic ear disease, bone-anchored hearing devices and cochlear implants.
The foundation also helped fund an online Physicians Library addressing otosclerosis, chronic ear disease and bone-anchored hearing devices.
