We do not publish a plan list online because networks change, so the most reliable answer comes from two places: our billing team and the phone number on the back of your insurance card.<\/p>\n<h3>\n\t\t\tHow We Handle the Insurance Side\t<\/h3>\n\t<p>You give us your card. We verify your coverage before or during your visit, then send the claim to your insurance company on your behalf. After they respond, we send you a statement showing what&#8217;s left, if anything.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll also get an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from your insurer. That is not a bill. It lists the services we provided, what we charged, what your plan paid, and what portion is yours.<\/p>\n<h3>\n\t\t\tWhy Your Plan Level Matters\t<\/h3>\n\t<p>Most insurers offer several coverage levels under the same company name. Two people can carry cards from the same insurer and owe very different amounts.<\/p>\n<p>Before your visit, it helps to know:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Does my plan cover urgent care visits?<\/li>\n<li>What is my co-pay for urgent care?<\/li>\n<li>Have I met my deductible this year?<\/li>\n<li>Is on-site lab work or X-ray covered the same way as the office visit?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Your insurance company can answer all four. QUICKmed offers self-pay options and discounts for patients without insurance, and we can provide pricing in advance for anyone planning to pay out of pocket.<\/p>\n<p>Just ask before you&#8217;re treated. Our team would rather tell you the number up front than surprise you afterward.<\/p>\n<h3>\n\t\t\tYour Right to a Good Faith Estimate\t<\/h3>\n\t<p>Federal law backs this up. Under the <strong>No Surprises Act,<\/strong> patients who are uninsured &#8211; or who have insurance but choose not to use it &#8211; have the right to a written good faith estimate of expected charges. You can request one, and the estimate should list the services you&#8217;re expected to receive and what each is expected to cost.<\/p>\n<p>If your final bill ends up at least $400 more than your good faith estimate, you may be able to dispute it. We submit the claim, your insurer reviews it, applies your deductible and plan rules, and pays their share. That process takes time.<\/p>\n<p>Once it&#8217;s finished, one of two things happens: your plan covers the balance and you hear nothing more, or a balance remains and we send you a statement for that amount only.<\/p>\n<p>If a statement arrives and something looks wrong, call our billing team before you pay. Tell the front desk it&#8217;s a work-related injury when you arrive.<\/p>\n<p>Work injury visits follow a separate path through your employer or the Ohio workers&#8217; compensation system, and getting that right on day one prevents claim problems later.
